The Al Muntazir Islamic Seminary is authorized by the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE – UK) to offer the Cambridge Curriculum at the Al Muntazir Islamic Seminary.
This is done by offering Cambridge Curriculum at the following levels:
- Cambridge Lower Secondary (Form 1 and 2) for ages 12 – 14: It helps students to prepare for the next step in education by focusing on the 3 core subjects of Math, English and Science. At the same time, the school offers non core subjects such as Economics, Business, Accounting, Geography, IRE, Kiswahili and Physical Education. At the end of the Lower Secondary, students are prepared to sit for the Lower Secondary Checkpoint Examination.
- Cambridge IGCSE (Form 3 and 4) for ages 14 to 16. This is the world most popular international qualification and gives students more preparedness for higher education than any other international qualification. At Al Muntazir, Cambridge IGCSE is offered as a choice for students to choose between Science and Arts. Students are education on subjects like Math, English (First Language), Kiswahili, Geography, Business Studies, IRE, Biology. Apart from this, Science students specifically select Chemistry and Physics while Arts students select Economics and Accounting.
- Cambridge International AS and A Level (Form 5 and 6) for ages 16 to 19. Students who achieve good grades at the IGCSE qualify for Cambridge A Level at Al Muntazir and can opt for subjects in specific combinations. Subjects currently offered are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Math, Geography, Economics, Business studies, and Accounting,
